The world’s first hair follicle stem cell platform on the frontier of regenerative medicine.
Acorn is building the world’s first hair follicle stem cell platform, and a technology company on the frontier of regenerative medicine. At the same time, they are launching You by Acorn, a consumer facing brand that turns this science into tangible, highly personalized treatments. In practice, this meant we were not working with one brand, but with a dual-brand ecosystem: Acorn as the clinical, biotech innovator; You as the intimate, human experience.
The challenge was to design a visual system where both brands live in the same universe, but play very different roles. Acorn needed to express precision, scientific credibility, and clinical supremacy across primarily digital and B2B touchpoints. You had to feel personal and desirable at the level of packaging, clinic experience, and one-to-one communication with patients. On top of that, the identity had to scale across a large set of applications without losing clarity, consistency, or a sense of advanced technology.
